What are the treatment options available in Glendale?

A consolidated treatment approach offers a successful way to identify and address the prime causes of drug or alcohol dependencies. Although addiction symptoms need to be managed, life skills should also be taught in order to focus on the causes of your substance misuse.

Private Residential Programs in Glendale

A residential treatment program requires you to live at the rehab center and receive all your treatment within the property. A primary benefit is the ability to receive integrated support and treatment day by day.

By displacing yourself from your home and living at the treatment centre you will safeguard yourself against the triggers that contributed to your substance abuse. When you stay in a safe and supportive environment you can protect yourself from relapse and increase the likelihood of finishing your treatment program. A residential rehab program offers the best outcome when you have a dual diagnosis, an intense substance dependency or co-occurring illnesses.

An inpatient addiction treatment program will assist you with getting sober, but maintaining sobriety will require constant effort as the early stages of recovery can be hard for many people. Upon completion of your inpatient addiction treatment program, you will transition towards more independence as you build goals for your new life.

Sober Living Programs

A sober living program will provide you with the skills you need, using support and guidance from addiction specialists. You can anticipate:

  1. A house manager to check in with you daily
  2. Establish boundaries for positive behaviors in recovery
  3. Friendship, companionship and support from other individuals who are having similar challenges to you.

Outpatient Programs

Outpatient programs are less intensive to adjust to as you can continue any work/family obligations and still undergo treatments, by attending the rehab center at your own pace.

Outpatient programs typically offer:

  1. Education around your substance misuse
  2. Talking therapy and counseling through the use of group interventions and one-to-one sessions with a trained addiction counselor. – Outpatient programs typically run from a few months to over a year, and your personal needs will determine the necessary duration of treatment.

Detox Only Programs

The early phase of any rehab program is a detox, which removes all traces of substances from your system and addresses your dependency on it. Withdrawal symptoms typically appear during the detox phase because your body begins to stabilize without the substance it was dependent on.

The withdrawal process marks the beginning of the rehabilitation process, and should always be followed up by tackling the main causes of your dependency, so you do not repeat the same negative cycle of behaviors. It is common to confront withdrawal and cravings for a while after the substance has been eradicated from your body. Relapse is less of a threat when you are equipped with the coping skills that will help you navigate your life in recovery.

Paying for Private Treatment

The cost of private treatment may be claimed back through your health insurance or self-funded. Most health insurance providers will cover at least parts of your rehab treatment, such as detox, rehab therapy, medicines and post-rehab support.

The amount of cover offered by your policy is down to your provider and the terms of your policy. We strongly suggest that you double check on the amount covered for treatment prior to enrolling in a program. By visiting our Verify Your Insurance page, you can learn what cover you are able to claim.

Clients will be responsible for the cost of treatment if they do not claim via their insurance policy. A number of rehab centres offer payment plans to clients so that cost is not a barrier to treatment.

State Funded Programs

If you want to overcome your substance or alcohol problems but have limited resources to afford private rehab, you may be a candidate for a state-funded rehabilitation program.

Assistance can be provided with funds provided from Medicaid and federal/state budgets, these sorts of programs can subsidize your recovery including:

  1. Programs for a safe detox (medically-supervised if required.
  2. Rehab programs and extended support services

So that you can enroll in a state-funded rehabilitation program you need to give proof that you reside in a low income household or have little to no healthcare cover:

  1. Evidence that shows you are a resident of the US
  2. Proof of your income
  3. Proof of living arrangements
  4. Medical details about your drug or alcohol addiction issues

You can learn more about the application process by visiting https://www.grants.gov/
